It’s stainless steel, but that’s all you get from this can. The spout is so high that it cannot release water unless you tip it. And it needs several gallons of water before any water starts to flow. It would be better if they had a pump at the top instead of a spout.I returned it and they did not return the full refund. I would suggest if you buy this you will have to make modifications like drill a hole at the top and do not pay extra for the spout version
