It was a gift and our wine drinker friend loved it!!For the more typical white wine glasses you would want to stay chilled, the shape doesn't really suit them. You need to pour wine into a wide (maybe a red Bordeaux glass) to allow more of your wine glass to contact the cold base for optimal chill. A unique gift for a wine lover for sure, but would be great if it came with a red and a white wine glass base.This item was a gift and she loved itWow.
