Product Description
To uncork: (1) Place foil cutter onto the neck of wine bottle and hold foil cutter firmly by one hand, rotating from left to right to form a half circle, seal will be removed. (2) Hold the bottle with one hand and the wine opener with the other one. Place the opener on top of the bottle ensuring it remains as upright as possible. (3) Hold the opener and bottle firmly then press and hold the “▼” button. The spiral will turn in a clockwise direction and enter the cork, then gradually remove it from the bottle which will take 6-8 seconds. When the wine opener mechanism stops, the cork has been fully removed from the bottle. Lift the wine opener away from bottle. (4) To remove the cork, press the “▲” button. The spiral will turn in a counter-clockwise direction and release the cork, which will take 5-7 seconds. To install batteries: (1) Holding the wine opener body, open the battery cover. (2) Insert 4 alkaline “AA” batteries. Place the battery cover back on. To use wine pourer: (1) Insert the aerator wine pourer into the bottle neck. The cutter does not attached and was lost or inadvertently discarded. Wish it fit better with the opener. Oh well.Can’t live without this!! First, the charging base could be a bit larger so that it feels more stable when stored in the upright position. Second, the foil cutter, which is integrated into the base (see picture), was not very easy to use.
