The cool thing about this (other than Pinot bottles actually do fit) is that it can be assembled easily into whatever configuration you need. Note that a cube made from one set has nine compartments, and you use the top of the unit for three more bottles (12 total). There are plenty of extra pins, so I made my 2 unit set into a tower and could use the top of that as an extra row of three. I have extra room around it in the cabinet and can add another vertical column. TIPS: Be sure to follow assembly directions to avoid making a puzzle. A touch of light sanding was needed on a few edges without much effort; I just did them as I went. Buy the mallet, it saves time and the wood. This is as good as the one I bought 20 years ago (and painted).
