Sheds way too much, purchase a rug comb from Amazon. The color does not resemble red! Leans toward dark orange. Very pretty and lush to walk on. Be sure to use quality pad.We already had a 10' x 13' matching rug in our den and loved it even though it sheds a lot in the beginning. When we moved into our new house with a very open floor plan, we ordered another 10' x 13' for the adjoining living room plus an 8-foot-long runner in the hallway/foyer between the two rooms. It really makes a statement! Everyone loves them! As long as you vacuum the house on a regular basis, it's OK, although the vacuum canister fills up so quick, you wonder how you have any rug left! But they are beautiful. And they don't show footprints when you walk across them.The rug looks good. Shedding, however, is a constant issue (as the other reviews state); one piece of advice: put the vacuum on the "bare floor" setting so as not to make the shedding worse! Overall, we're pleased with it.Ummm wow! This rug is like an inch thick, super soft and was far less expensive than I thought a rug this nice would be! So so so happy!I love the color and thickness of the rug. It seems to be of good quality; however, the rug seems to shed a great deal and I find pieces of the rug throughout the house where we have supposedly tracked it from our shoes. Every time I vacuum the rug there is a lot of rug fragments collected in the vacuum bag. I am hoping the rug will stop shedding in time.This is a beautiful well made wool rug. The color is great too.Not great value for the money. This carpet sheds fibers like crazy - it will fill up my vaccum after a day or two. All my socks have red fibers on them, I find red fibers in the bed sheets, and even red fibers on shelves 2 feet off the ground. I wish I could return it.Rug was exactly as advertised except that it had been folded at some point instead of rolled. 3 months after purchase, I still cannot get the fold marks out, despite multiple attempts at different solutions. Considered sending back.....Firstly, I ordered this rug late afternoon on a Thursday and it arrived before 10:30 am on the Friday. What great service. It was securely packaged and is exactly as described and the sellers photograph shows the true colours. It is very good quality and perfect for my requirements enhancing my room better than anticipated.Absolutely love the size of the carpet, perfect fit for my living room. The colour and pattern has enhanced the space and pulled together my décor. the only downside is the shredding. Lots of shredding.The filter in my vacuum is always filled with lint from the carpet. My advice, if wearing black or other light colour clothing, do not sit or laid down on carpet. I would have given 5 stars if not for this. It was a bargain when I purchased it. I am glad I did.This area rug is a cut above 90% of what you see in stores. Wool matrix is very cozy, but sheds for a while when it's new. Quality manufacturing with southwestern design of elegant simplicity. Slide it over a high-density foam-rubber underpad and you can sleep on it. The weight of the rug combined with the weight of a quality underpad prevents unwanted movement on your hardwood. Excellent choice.Well made, I love it. Sheds yes, smells like wool yes, but that's normal when you wish for a wool carpet.Great product
